Shawn has served Gateway’s Preschool Program since 2008. She started as an Assistant Teacher and now directs the program. She brings exceptional organizational skills and high standards of care to the program. Her Christian faith serves as an example for every kid in the program, as she empowers her staff to share Christ’s love and stories found in the Bible.
She is native to Indianapolis. When she isn’t caring for little people, she loves to run, play golf, travel, watch sports, and most importantly spend time with her family.

Gateway is blessed to have a Curriculum Specialist who interacts with all our students to furnish additional enrichment opportunities throughout the week. Ms. Richardson works with each class every day and provides instruction in science, art, and music. In addition, she leads our chapel celebrations twice a month.
Ms. Richardson has been an educator for over thirty years and has taught at Gateway for twenty years. She holds a Master’s of Education from Harvard University and an elementary education certificate and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Arizona.
